VI 510V Video Interface
The VI 510V is a system analog interface designed to allow the connection of a computer video source to an analog RGB output and a local monitor simultaneously. The VI 510V is compatible with the majority of computers in the field, accepting VGA thru UXGA type signals. The VI 510V uses a 15-pin HD input that is compatible with standard VGA cables. The VI 510V provides two buffered outputs: a main output on 5 BNC connectors that offers RGBHV, RGBS, or RGsB, and a pass-through 15-pin HD output used to feed a local monitor. If the input signal format is RGBS or RGBHV, the main output can be RGBHV, RGBS, or RGsB. If the input signal is RGsB, the output must be RGsB; the VI 510V is not designed to strip Sync from Green. The VI 510V offers a number of useful features, such as a Horizontal Position Adjustment control and dip-switches for Input Termination, Horizontal Positioning Disable (used with LCD displays), and ID Bit (used to emulate a local monitor when interfacing laptop computers).
